Founded in 1991, the Standish-Ericsson Neighborhood Association (SENA) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining and improving the Standish and Ericsson neighborhoods of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The organization operates to inform and involve the citizens, and to develop the processes to promote the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

OUR MISSION

The Standish-Ericsson Neighborhood Association brings neighbors together to build on the strengths of the Standish and Ericsson neighborhoods – stability,
diversity and concern for others.

11th Annual Standish, Ericsson and Corcoran
Neighborhood Garage Sale!
Sat, June 15th, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Start spring-cleaning now for the largest neighborhood garage sale in Minneapolis! The 11th Annual Standish, Ericsson & Corcoran Neighborhood Garage Sale will be on June 15th. Last year’s event involved over 150 households, brought approximately $30,000 into the neighborhood, and recycled thousands of items.

For those who would like to have a sale: The “Standish, Ericsson, and Corcoran Neighborhood Garage Sale” is a community-wide event that extends from Lake Street to the Minnehaha Parkway, and Cedar Avenue to Hiawatha Avenue. Individual households will set up their own sales at their homes, and SENA & CNO will take care of the publicity, including advertising in the StarTribune, Craigslist, press releases to area newspapers and other media. We’ll create a “Sales Guide and Map” of all homes having sales that day. To be added to the list of sales and to the map, simply call the SENA office at 721-1601 by Friday, June 7th. We will ask you to provide:
- Your address
- Type of merchandise being sold at your sale

We’ll add this information to the map and guide to all sales, which will be available FREE to all shoppers Saturday, June 15th. Every sale participant also receives a free yard sign. The Neighborhood Garage Sale will be held rain or shine.
